We are highlighting Thomas Armstrong, PE, PLS who joined our team in 2023! Here is what Thomas had to say about why he became a Professional Engineer:
“I decided to become a Professional Civil Engineer for several reasons. Both of my Grandfathers were PE’s, math was my best subject in school, I enjoy solving difficult problems, and it is a related field to Land Surveying. My Grandpa and I looked at the job market forecast and saw an opportunity, so with all the signs it became quite obvious to me which career path to take when contemplating my future. Beyond my schooling, I had many great engineering mentors who took me under their wings, which was a huge catalyst toward getting my license. Engineering and Land Surveying have served me very well in life thus far and I highly recommend anyone who is interested to pursue a future in the field! Happy Professional Engineer’s Day!”
